ABOUT THE WORKSHOP FACILITATOR

      A former Missouri State Equal Employment Opportunity Technician, perhaps Phillip E. Walker has become one of America’s most sought after Black speakers because he is a true new millennium renaissance man.

      Among many youth program assignments, this Chicago native’s longest stints have been Program Development for Third Baptist Church of San Francisco’s Being Black is Being Smart and Program Director for San Jose’s St. Paul’s UMC Creative Arts for Youth Center. Phil presently strives to open a professional training program www.ENTERTAINERACADEMY.com.

      Also a professional actor, Phillip’s ever popular www.CanISpeakForYouBrother.com continues to tour. As well, he appeared in the movies RENT with Rosario Dawson & Taye Diggs and ZODIAC with Robert Downing, Jr. & Jake Gyllenhaal plus ABC-TV’s The Evidence with Orlando Jones & Robert Estes. Among 300+ plays, modeling, video, motion picture, etc. gigs, he worked on Sean Penn’s Oscar winning MILK, played with two time Academy Award nominee Will Smith in the #1 film The Pursuit of Happyness and is seen this season in NBC-TV’s “Trauma”.

      A former professor, Mr. Walker has decades of college public speaking teaching faculty experience at universities nationwide. Further, he has led diversity seminars in every State in the Union.
