The 2007 Kwanzaa craft previewed at Third Baptist Church’s Friday Night Live. Additional San Francisco shows were given at Victoria Manor plus the musical Kwanzaa play opened the San Francisco Zoo’s Reindeer Romp performance series. Amos C. Brown pastors Third Baptist Church.
With the below candle Kwanzaa symbol SLIDE SHOW shot at an Old Town Los Gatos preview, San Jose 2007 appearances included: Santana Row, the African American Community Service Agency and the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose` premiere (supported, in part, by a grant from the city of San Jose`).
AADC Artistic Director www.PhillipEWalker.com directed the 2007 gift Kwanzaa story which was assisted by San Jose State University’s www.EthelPittsWalker.com. The 2007 cast included: Nick Ben, Cierra Bivins, Armando & Krystal DeLaHerran, Muriel Donahue, Angela Hsu [singing coach], Daytra Jackson, Matt LiJon [dance captain], Ace & Zion Payne, Rachel Perryman, Jazmine, Marcus & Melina Polk, Genesis Sanchez, Zerena Shaw and Terrell Sloan.
