FREEDOM & CREATIVITY
at the California State Capitol
Dec. 31, 2012 - 3:00pm
California State Capitol Bldg.
1315 10th, Rm 126~Sacramento 95814
It is exciting for our Kwanzaa kids to be invited to take part in Freedom's Eve. Further, it is most appropriate for them to play the Capitol building of our Nation's most populated State in celebration of Kuumba - Kwanzaa's day of creativity.
Having not visited the Capitol since his days as the State Arts Council's first ever Touring Arts Coordinator, director Phillip E Walker can't wait!

This annual Kwanzaa Celebration is a culinary, visual, musical, poetic journey "to bring out what is within" or edu-tain about the California Grown Kwanzaa holiday. The Central Valley of California (the greatest garden in the world) is the headquarters of the National Black Agriculture Action Agenda, a sacred journey to "restore Agriculture as the foundation of Black Culture." It strives to help educate the broader multi-ethnic & multi-cultural community while celebrating the next generation of Black activists toward a greater measure of unity, year-round.
