Report on iPOP! Los Angeles 2007 Teen & Young Adult Phillip E Walker prep class

Welcome to www. iPOP07 .com

The International Presentation of Performers (iPOP!) is a bi-annual talent search where performers compete for award recognition, talent agent representation and jobs in The Industry. Additionally, selected up & coming stars perform in the Success Showcase production created during the four (4) day event. At 2007 iPOP! Los Angeles, recognized as the four (4) top schools were John Robert Powers (JRP) sites in New York, London, Seattle and San Jose.

JRP-San Jose teen and young adult division acting instructor Phillip E. Walker’s thirteen (13) student performers made a big splash at iPOP! 2007.

Dancing to gain San Jose’s highest acting award and tying with another Walker student for the 2nd highest recognition of the total San Jose delegation was RACHEL PERRYMAN. This hardest working of the year’s mature performers was nominated for her acting scene work and was second (2nd) runner-up for best teen actress of the event (arguably the conference’s most competitive category). She was also one of San Jose’s three singing finalists among its four singing contestants. She was also an invaluable 2007 Kwanzaa cast member.

Eldest of San Jose’s three head shot nominations was this TARAI PRYM photo as a MALE TEEN HEAD SHOT Nominee. Tarai loved the fun of his iPOP!-LA 2007 experience and was intrigued by the agent’s questions at call backs.

Phil’s student JEANINE DE VERA was the only San Jose actor called back for the iPOP 07 SUCCESS SHOWCASE. She enjoyed “learning together as a group” and was surprised at the large number of competitors at call backs.
